From the Chalice of Courage is a representation of the preparation of General Douglas MacArthur's 1944 return visit from the Philippines, and depicts those many men at arms who took the fight back to the enemy and achieved victory.

We have come dedicated and committed to the task of destroying every vestige of enemy control over your daily lives, and of restoring upon a foundation of indestructible strength, the liberties of your people."
