Women of West Point by Matt Hall

Image approximately 13x22.

Framed approximately 25x32.

Signed and numbered

When I first heard of this painting honoring the women of West Point, I was thrilled to see it, simply because it is so needed and so well deserved.  West Point is difficult - physically, mentally, intellectually and in character.  But the women of the pioneer Class of '80 and every woman that followed them, proved to the world that they had the physical prowess, intellect, character and commitment to win at West Point.  If ever anyone wants to see what comradery, grit, commitment and character of the gut all are about, sit down with a West Point woman and listen to what they had to endure to achieve what they have achieved.  It will floor you; inspire you; and embolden you.  You just can't help but admire and respect the walls they busted, the respect they achieved, and the trust and confidence of every single member of the Corps of Cadets, the U.S. Army, and the American people, that they have earned.  They are amazing and they inspire everyone just walking into the room.  If the average American wants to see what is right with America, look towards the West Point women, and see what right looks like.  I am so pleased to see this painting that tributes these women - not only because of what they have accomplished over the last 42 years, but because they are a source of inspiration to generations to come.  Go Army!  Go West Point!  Go West Point Women!  So proud of you all!
